Pine Boards

#1 Select grade

is #1 Ponderosa Pine. The grade is similar in appearance to the "Finish" grade of Eastern White Pine but contains small knots throughout the board. It comes in the following sizes; 1 x 3, 1 x 4, 1 x 5, 1 x 6, 1 x 8, 1 x 10, and 1 x 12 in 6' through 16' lengths.

East Coast Lumber, a lumber company in New Hampshire, offers two grades of raw (unprimed) pine boards, C-Select and #1 Select .

C-Select grade

is Eastern White Pine which is virtually free of knots. It comes in the following sizes; 1 x 4, 1 x 5, 1 x 6, 1 x 8, 1 x 10, and 1 x 12 in 6' through 16' lengths.
